We are looking for a Controller to join the Controlling and Performance management department.

How will you contribute to the success of RBNS Match?

As a Financial Controller, your primary purpose is threefold: First, to ensure the production of high-quality and cost-effective managerial reports in strict adherence to accounting principles and corporate policies. Second, to actively propose and participate in standardization, automation, and process improvement initiatives, providing valuable support for their successful deployment. Third, your scope of activities may encompass a broad spectrum, ranging from country-specific controlling to regional support (OtC support) and global support (Capex, Carbon accounting,..).

Your key tasks:

• Preparation of financial reports, budgets, cost reports and financial forecasts on a regular basis;
• Perform month-end closing activities according to month-end schedule;
• Participate in P&L reviews and improve existing processes;
• Investigate in case of queries from Country controlling team and proactively check for abnormalities;
• Prepare system/interface reconciliations in terms of all possible categories (accounts/cost centers);
• Prepare/process accruals and provisions if necessary;
• Master the financial transparency in line with IFRS and DP RBNS Match policy;
• Ensure and maintain positive relationship with the business partners (in particular the country controlling organization);
• Schedule, prepare and participate in regular Service Performance Reviews with Business Partners;
• Master the processes of other financial departments to ensure they follow correct accounting principles and corporate policies;
• Support in preparing the budget;

Do you have what it takes?

You have a University level in Finance or Controlling or equivalent by experience. Next to this you more then ⚠ years of working experience in a similar international role.

• You have strong knowledge of Controlling principles;

• Strong analytical skills and affinity with numbers;

• Good knowledge of IFRS principles is an asset;

• You have strong IT skills;

• Good command of the English language and preferably on more European language.
