Senior Solution Architect

Credit & Engagement is a relatively young and dynamic area within the Rabobank international IT domain. We have lots of ambition and opportunities to make our stakeholders’ application environment easier to use and more efficient for the bank. We aim to do this a.o. by taking the lead in designing and implementing (part of our) solutions on a low code platform to cater for the digitalization agenda of the business.

As a Solution Architect you can make a difference

By taking ownership of both the definition and realization of our application architecture. For this, you work closely with our business, business architect, development teams and other stakeholders.

We are looking for:

  1. A conceptual and strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills. When it comes to solving problems, he/she is able to guide the teams in an assertive manner;
  2. Someone who is able to create a holistic architecture view and has excellent communication skills to drive the team and stakeholders towards needed change
  3. A colleague with the ability to oversee a complex (global) stakeholder field and to make sure that alignment and cooperation is achieved;
  4. Someone with experience with front-office processes and preferably an understanding of the (Rural) credit risk domain at an enterprise level.

With you

Customer focus, innovative thinking, execution power and persuasiveness are essential for the role of Solution Architect. In addition, it is important that you have:

  1. Completed a bachelor or master degree in Information Technology, Economics, Business Administration or similar
  2. 8+years of experience as a Solution Architect;
  3. Experience in banking (esp. the credit risk domain) and financial services IT
  4. Experience with low code platforms (pre)
  5. Knowledge on credit / risk calculations (i.e. RAROC, LGD, EAD, PD) (pre);
  6. Solid understanding of event-driven API architectures
  7. Experience with IT and architecture in large change programs and complex environments
  8. Experience in Agile environment and an understanding of Scrum-principles;

This is what we offer you

  • Up to € 6.750 gross per month based on 36 hours a week (scale 10)
  • An 8% holiday allowance and a 13th month
  • An Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your gross monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out.
  • 100% reimbursement of the costs of home/work travel if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a home/work travel allowance.
  • A combination of working from home and working from the office.
  • A pension scheme to which you contribute 5.5%
  • A monthly € 40,- nett work from home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
  • A monthly € 40,- nett internet allowance.
  • An annual Personal Development Budget of € 1.400,-.
