Redefining Business Lending services for the digital era and being part of the largest Tribe within Rabobank, Tribe Business Lending. Rabobank serves 7.1 million clients globally and owns more than 40% of the corporate lending market in the Netherlands. In this landscape, the Area Services Journeys is responsible for all service processes on business lending products. You can help us with providing the best services to our customers by joining our Area as Functional Solution Architect.

You and your job

As a Functional Solution Architect, you define Area architecture to support the Target Architecture. You communicate, align and monitoring the architecture with stakeholders inside and outside your Area). You provide knowledge and expertise to the squads in your Area, especially you:

  • Participate in creating the Area target architecture
  • Translate business and IT requirements into functional architectural designs (e.g. PSA), alignedwiththeresponsiblesquads and coordinate the overall design process
  • Drives the Area Refinement, from IT perspective
  • Communicate and explain application models and business function & process, to stakeholders.
  • Explain consequences of alternative choices
  • Cross area and cross tribe alignment with peers
  • Up-to-date functional area and IT processknowledge
  • Guide and coaches the BA’s in the Area on functional business knowledge

You and your talent
As a Functional Solution Architect, you should particularly excel in the following Rabo skills:

  • Storytelling
  • Complex problem solving

In addition to these skills we ask for:

  • Bachelor or master degree in a relevant direction (IT-Finance)
  • Experience as Business Analyst (and ready for a next step)
  • Act as a Functional Solution Architect in a complex environment
  • Experience in translating business and regulatory requirements to IT solutions
  • Experience with architecture principles, methods and techniques
  • Experience in designing and maintaining a services architecture
  • Good understanding of IT security and monitoring principles.
  • Experience with working in large organizations on complex technological landscapes
  • Helicopter view, overseeing a wide domain and any consequences of (design) decisions
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with squads, colleague architects and other stakeholders and adjust the level of your audience
  • You have the ability to influence and persuade others with an open mindset
  • Good English proficiency (both oral and written) and preferably also in Dutch

This is what we offer

  • A gross monthly salary between € 3.959,74 and € 6.741,24 (scale 9/10), depending on experience, knowledge and education.
  • A 13th month and an 8% holiday allowance.
  • An Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions or even receiving a monthly cash payout.
  • 100% reimbursement of the costs of home/work travel if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a home/work travel allowance.
  • An annual personal development budget of € 1.400,-.
  • A very attractive pension scheme, to which your own contribution is only 5,5%.
  • A work-from-home allowance of € 40,- nett.
  • An internet allowance of € 40,- nett.
