What are your responsibilities as Software Quality Assurance Analyst?

  • Design and Implement test automation frameworks.
  • Groom and prune tests at all levels to ensure optimal coverage and effective deduplication.
  • Identify, share, and nurture the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, testability, and maintainability in collaboration with the wider Quality department. You should champion clean code and the concept of the test pyramid.
  • Setting up the infrastructure to run tests: running tests in CI/CD; running tests in parallel running tests with the appropriate test data.
  • Setting up and maintain test environments.
  • Track and communicate test results in a timely, effective, and automated manner
  • Willingness and ability to mentor/train other engineers as required.
  • Developing tools to assist manual and exploratory testing.
  • Collaborate with a product and development team to contribute to planning and design, reviewing product code, formulating test scenarios.
  • Analyze complex software systems and collaborate with others to improve the overall design, testability, and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineers to define and implement mechanisms to inject testing earlier into the software development process.
  • Interface with other members of Product and R&D departments in order to effectively communicate and resolve all reported issues in a timely manner before the product is released.
  • Participation in the support of continuous integration, continuous deployment and automation testing strategies.
  • Assist other members of the Quality Assurance Department on special projects and continuous process improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Understand and be aware of code changes that may impact test coverage and execution.
  • Introduce process improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis review.

What should you bring to Wolters Kluwer’s Enablon ?

  • 3 + years software engineering experience in Test Automation, Test Tooling and Infrastructure, or Development Deployment Operations
  • Proficient understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycle
  • Experience in deriving test plans/cases/scripts from system requirements
  • Experience with testing SaaS products
  • Experience with C#, Javascript or other coding languages
  • Experience developing automation test scripts
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a DevOps setup
