Candidate profile

We are looking for a resourceful andmotivated Financial controller, who is ateam player and understands thedynamics of a scale-up. As a Financial controller, you should beable to solve problems quickly and in a diligent manner. We seek someone who is always hunting for efficiency and automation, in close collaboration with other team divisions. We value a strong sense of personal and professional engagement to our team, product and mission.

Job description

You will:

• Work on daily financial administration and invoicing
• Set up new company entities, both nationally and internationally, in collaboration with our legal counsel and management
• In 2024: Consolidate the bookkeeping for multiple Skoon entities
• Work on the integration of a new ERP and accounting system
• Work closely together with our accountants at EY and our legal on tax related topics
• Update and maintain our financial model, used to make financial reports and budgets, to present to shareholders, investors and the team
• Create business models and performance-related reports in collaboration with the team and management

We are looking for someone who;

• Has had a relevant financial education
• Has at least 3 years of relevant working experience in the field of finance. Experience at a scale-up company is a plus
• Is structured and has an eye for detail
• Has a positive mindset and is solution-oriented
• Can handle pressure and is able to manage expectations
• Has a strong desire to learn and continuously improve
• Has the ability to work independently, take initiative and has a strong sense of responsibility
• Is driven and full of initiative to take our finance landscape to the next level
• Is able to speak, read, and write English and Dutch at a professional level
