Role Description

As Senior Process Engineer CCUS at RWE Technology International GmbH, you will be responsible for the following:

· Leading projects with your expertise in process engineering or chemical engineering, particularly in Germany, U.K. and the Netherlands. Main focal points are feasibility studies, Pre-FEED-studies and FEED-Studies.

· Developing technical and functional specifications of plants and systems, and conducting due-diligence.

· Identification and regulation of process interfaces with existing power plant systems, especially flue gas cleaning, cooling water, sewage water treatment etc.

· Inspecting power plants and assessing deficiencies, while also proposing effective solutions

· Conducting error analysis and troubleshooting across a wide range of specialist areas within our renowned company, which is at the forefront of sustainable energy transformation.

Qualifications

· Successfully completed studies in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Technology, Chemical Engineering, or comparable fields.

· A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in engineering, in operation, or challenging projects at plant manufacturers within the chemical industry or in the power plant environment.

· Strong communication skills, combined with persuasiveness and a proven track record of fostering teamwork as a practiced approach.

· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

· Business fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications and interests are considered advantageous:

· Experience in CCUS

· Interest in topics such as hydrogen, power-to-X, water treatment, (exhaust) gas purification, and a strong desire to contribute to shaping the energy transition

· Proficiency in languages other than English, including Dutch and German.
