You and your job
Translating business and IT requirements into functional and technical designs that fit into the (enterprise) architecture. Using your excellent knowledge of architectural principles, while cooperating with both business and IT in the role of Solution Architect. Making the difference by future proofing our landscape, working closely together with our business stakeholders, business architect, squads and other areas and domains in a global context.

Practical Examples
  • Writing a (Project Start) Architecture Design for new systems or updating these for existing systems
  • Designing innovative solutions for an on premise to Cloud Interface[DR(1]
  • Implementing new business [DR(2] for both Transaction Filtering and Name Screening
  • Continue improving current Transaction Filtering and Name Screening solutions
  • Working with the squads to design solutions for complicated issues

The 50+ people in Global Transaction Filtering & Name Screening facilitate complex IT applications and processes to fulfil Sanction regulations. You and your talent
  • Academic working and intellectual level (BSc or MSc degree, e.g. Computer Science).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • A broad experience with the IT-landscape in the financial sector. Preferable experienced on Compliance topics.
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar function (IT architect, information mgr, consultant).
  • Proven experience in IT-architecture principles and improving continuity of IT-services.
  • Practical experience with architecture methods and techniques (e.g. Archimate, DYA, TOGAF).
  • Relevant experience with Agile, Scrum, Lean, DevOps, SAFe
  • Broader knowledge/experience on Cloud principles, Big Data solutions, Various database concepts, Software architectures, Security principles, Interface concepts, Risk management concepts, Development- & Test methods.
  • You have a helicopter view: overseeing a wide domain and any consequences certain (design) decisions have
  • On the other hand you are not afraid to ‘get your hands dirty’ and become involved in complex analysis and implementation questions
  • Good communicator: ability to talk to senior management, business experts as well as developers and other team members
  • You have a pro-active mind-set and you take ownership
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (preferable) languages


This is what we offer you

  • A base salary between € 4.848,64 - € 6.926,62 gross per month (scale 10)
  • an extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
  • a budget of € 750- to set up your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40-
  • a personal development budget of € 1,400-
  • a combination of working from home and at the office #LI-Hybrid
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport
  • A pension scheme to which you contribute 5.5%
  • 151.2 hours holiday per year + 1 Diversity Day per year
