You and your future During the Young Engineering Professional Program (also known as YEPP) at Rabobank you work on your career one day a week by following a technical track, or you work on your personal development. You develop talents you didn’t know you had and we are given the space to discover for yourself what you are good at and what you like. And then? Everything you learn in the training courses can immediately be put into practice, because the other 4 days you work in your starter position as a Junior NoSQL Engineer. Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, you will become a specialist in your field in no time. In addition, in the program you will work together with the team on 2 business challenges on themes such as sustainable agriculture or the cooperative energy transition. Our application is an integrated data platform built on NoSQL technology which ingests and transforms data from various sources. Those data is exposed across multiple data view platforms like Power BI and API’s, based on consumer needs. We are looking for a Junior developer to join our agile team and who is eager to learn new NoSQL technologies including core integrated data formats like JSON, XML and web development technology. You will be taking part of a future team that will act as a data exposure platform. Key activities / Practical examples By your ability to develop and maintain our NoSQL based ODS; By your ability to constantly improve and adept to the ever changing needs of our business partners from a technical point of view; You are capable of taking over the basic activities of other DevOps team members to develop yourself into a T-shaped DevOps Engineer. Creating new API’s; Data validation and automations; CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance; Splunk Log monitoring; Dashboard Reporting via PowerBI; Practical Length: Young Engineering Professional Program: 18 months After which you will continue to work with us as Junior NoSQL Engineer Hours per week: 40 Your development To become the specialist in your professional field, in the Young Engineering Professional Program 1 day a week you mainly attend training courses that that support your talent development. The courses are often given by experienced colleagues or trainers with a track record. You build your network, gain valuable experience and develop skills which will be of use to you later in your career. Learning from each other Development is our top priority.
