Senior Project Manager Data-Driven Compliance

As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for proactively managing data-driven use cases and being sparring partner of stakeholders within Compliance to help identify and initiate data-driven opportunities. You and your job

On a day-to-day basis, you are key in the transformation to a more data-driven Compliance function and

have a variety of tasks. This includes acting as a sparring partner for and with stakeholders within our Compliance departments, working on project management, and participating in working groups.

And, perhaps even more important: your job is to get people not only more involved, but also more excited about the different ways of working via solid storytelling.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of the Risk & Data team, which is one of the 4 teams of the Core Compliance department within the Compliance department of Rabobank Group; one of the most dynamic departments of the bank.

Compliance has a key role in the promotion and safeguarding of the integrity as well as the reputation of Rabobank Group. Compliance promotes and monitors that the integrity and compliance rules are closely adhered to through its teams dedicated to business line compliance for the various markets (e.g., Retail Netherlands, Rural & Retail, Wholesale, Member Banks), as well as the expertise centre on themes such as market abuse, conflicts of interests and financial economic crime.

Your top 3 responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects at the same time, including ensuring the correct staffing, assigning tasks, monitoring of deadlines and providing clear and concise communication and status updates to stakeholders;
  • Building positive relationships with colleagues within the Compliance departments, by serving as their primary point of contact for our current and future data-driven opportunities;
  • Investigate and proactively advise Compliance on data-driven opportunities and align with various stakeholders within other departments to optimize data-driven insights within Compliance.

You and your talent

For this opportunity, we are looking for a customer-oriented and collaborating person. Someone who is both result driven, strong in communication and stakeholder management and can take ownership. Other than that, we believe the following qualities reflect the next data-driven Senior Project Manager:

  • Extensive experience with project management;
  • An academic background;
  • Preferably working experience in and/or affinity with corporate banking or a compliance and data-related environment and affinity and preferably working experience with Compliance themes, such as Financial and Economic Crime, Fraud, and Privacy;
  • Experience with creating actionable insights using data analytics, as well as acting as a sparring partner and being able to provide the business proactively with clear advice;
  • Able to multitask on several assignments at the same time, by using your project management skills;
  • Thrive on working in a dynamic environment;
  • Able to speak both English (C1) and Dutch on at least a B2 level.

This is what we offer you

  • Up to a max of € 8.11,77 a month, based on a salary scale 10 or 11. Salary will be set by comparing experience levels with our internal workforce;
  • € 750.00 budget to set up your home workplace and up to € 40.00 for working from home allowance per month;
  • Personal budget of € 1.400 to spend on activities related to your personal development and career;
  • Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance;
  • An Employee Benefit Budget (EBB) of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out;
