Continuous Improvement Consultant

Your contribution will be essential in progressing Rabobank as a ‘Rock Solid’ and efficient bank. You’ll help the credit core and other stakeholders to signal and improve problems in the end to end credit journey. You help to quantify the effect of improvement activities to enable value driven prioritizing. You support teams to change these ideas into actual improvements.

You and your job

Many clients appreciate the credit services and products of Rabobank. To ensure clients continue to do so in the future, we must continuously improve the end-to-end Credit Journey that shapes the customer experience. Business and regulatory change drive the improvement backlog for the end-2-end credit chain and involves many stakeholders. Together with stakeholders you signal issues in the credit journey and improve them by finding the root cause and redesign the process. You help to define End to end monitoring of the most important key value indicators in the credit journeys.

Practical Examples

  • Guiding Value stream mapping and process redesign sessions together with various teams across Group Risk and different Business Units
  • Designing and improving monitoring of the credit journey and the tribe CreditCore implementation process. Looking at ‘time-to-yes’, ‘automation rates’, ‘capital allocation levels’
  • Both drive and support analysis and improvement on both credit risk cycle and the tribe CreditCore implementation process.

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Work with Tribe CreditCore delivery Squads and support them and the various Business Units in identifying and improving the most important KVI’s on the Credit Journey
  • Design the measurement and analysis of the Credit Journey KVI’s and KPI’s and give data driven advice on how to improve the Credit Journey.
  • Drive improvement projects within the credit journey.

You and your talents

An analytical, creative & service oriented mindset are key., Agility, a transparent way of working and a team-player with excellent communication skills are clearly essential for this role. You are the Continuous Improvement Consultant that can bring people together a complex stakeholder environment. In addition, you can convince us with the following skills:

  • You have an Academic or Bachelor’s degree ideally in business, banking, finance, economics or IT
  • You have affinity with the credit journey.
  • You have experience in facilitating improvement activities with different actors in a value chain
  • You have Black belt certification or Green belt with a track record of process optimization
  • You’re able to transform data into clear insights.
  • You present your insights or advice in a concise and inspiring storyline.
  • As a Bank with international footprint excellent oral and written communication skills in English is mandatory
  • You are aware/experienced in agile project management approaches like SCRUM, or SAFe
  • You are highly communicative, have a cooperative spirit and you lead by example
  • You are creative by nature and like to solve problems by a practical approach
  • You are service minded and have a ‘can-do’ attitude in a large complex organizational setting and you can show that by experience

This is what we offer you

  • A salary in the range of €3.959,74 up to € 6.741,24 gross per month (compensation grade 9-10), but will be based on knowledge and experience ;
  • A thirteenth month and holiday allowance;
  • An Employee Benefit Budget (11 % of your monthly salary);

  • A pension scheme for which you can opt for a flexible personal contribution
