Job Description:

As a Functional Salesforce Engineer you play a key role in our organization. You are always on the lookout for innovative Salesforce solutions to achieve the strategic goals of business and IT departments and act as a sparring partner for business, your IT team and product owner.

Furthermore you:

  • Design, configure, test and manage the Salesforce Platform solutions to support critical business functions for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Execute and oversee Salesforce activities such as data mapping, object modeling, UI design and perform periodic tests and data analysis
  • Have a configuration before code mindset
  • Develop and deliver effective Salesforce user training for key users and support the adoption process
  • Participate in meetings, projects, generating deliverables and managing relevant communication
  • Bring ideas for process and efficiency improvement / advice on how to optimize the use of existing tools and systems
  • Ensure requirements are translated to viable Salesforce solutions
  • Are the go-to person for the latest technology trends, and proactively raise awareness of information technology innovations and digital solutions to the Corporate Bank business domain

Your team

As Functional Salesforce Engineer you will become part of the Corporate Banking IT team. Our Scrum team is a subteam within Corporate Banking IT, which is responsible for the development of the Salesforce environment of the NIBC Corporate Bank. The team consists of Salesforce engineers, a test engineer, a scrum master and a product owner. Our ambition is to (continuously) develop the Salesforce environment, so that the business can support our customers in their decisive moments. We work according to the Agile framework and strive to keep improving ourselves.

If you think you have all of this we would like to add these requirements:

As a junior:

  • 1+ Years of experience with Salesforce configuration (a must-have!)
  • Experience with configuring Sales (financial service) cloud
  • Preferably knowledge of Community Cloud, Flows, Pardot & API integration
  • Must hold at least the following certification: Salesforce Certified Administrator and / or Salesforce App Builder
  • Preferably hold the Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant certification

As a senior:

  • 5+ Years of experience with Salesforce configuration (a must-have!)
  • Experience with configuring Sales (financial service) cloud, Community Cloud, Flows & API integration
  • Preferably knowledge of Pardot
  • Must hold at least the following certification: Salesforce Certified Administrator and / or Salesforce App Builder
  • Preferably hold at least 3 of the following certifications: Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator / Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant / Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant / Salesforce Certified Community Cloud Consultant.
  • A self starter, taking initiative from idea to implementation

And additionally, independent of seniority:

  • Experience and understanding of software development methodologies, Scrum & DevOps
  • Self-starting professional who has a drive for continuous improvement and is interested in new developments
  • Experience with Jira is a plus
  • Fluent in Dutch - written  and  verbal
