Your job

As an Expert Lead in Finance & Risk Data Requirements, you will spearhead a team, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless coordination, administration, and communication of Finance and Risk data requirements. Your role extends to developing a vision for the Finance & Risk data requirements capability, translating it into concrete implementation plans to educate stakeholders and integrate effective data requirement management into the Finance and Risk Data Domain.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data users to define and document comprehensive data requirements for finance and risk analysis, - modelling, and - reporting.
- Ensure alignment between data requirements and organizational objectives.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive data requirements catalogue detailing , definitions, ownership, and required data quality.
- Identify and utilize data requirement tools and technologies for effective and efficient data requirements management, including tracking changes in data requirements over time.
- Foster collaboration between IT, data management teams, data domains, and business units to ensure effective communication and understanding of data requirements.
- Communicate changes in data requirements to stakeholders clearly and in a timely manner.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with BCBS 239 and other regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage performance, development, and training initiatives for the team and other stakeholders in the Finance & Risk Data Domain.

The Data Department Finance & Risk is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring risk data management to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable risk data on time. We do this by improving the risk data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with anAgile operating model. Our Data Department Finance & Risk consists of 5 teams where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.

Your profile

We seek an energetic individual with a passion for combining strategic thinking and hands-on execution. If you resonate with the following, you may be the ideal candidate:
- Master's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in data management in the banking industry, preferably in the Finance and Risk domain.
- Proven experience in leading teams and establishing effective ways of working.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements related to finance and risk data.
- Familiarity with data management frameworks and (data) requirements management.
- Project management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Stakeholder management
