We are currently recruiting for a Quant / Data analyst for our Finance Division in Amsterdam.

Your impact at MUFG

Join our dynamic Statutory Reporting, Policies & Projects team at MBE as an aspiring data analyst / quant. You will be part of a data driven finance modernisation initiative currently underway at MBE which entails a transformation of the data and systems landscape. The role will also require you to work with a diverse set of stakeholders, ranging from IT, Data Management Office and Valuation / Product control activities. The role offers you the opportunity to grow and thrive in a dynamic environment, as well as the space to learn from senior colleagues, with multiple years in the industry.

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

  • Educational background in Computer Science, Statistics or a Quantitative background (e.g. Physics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Econometrics, Economics etc) ; Masters preferred
  • 0 – 4 years of working experience;
  • Experience in coding / programming (Python / R / SQL); must have
  • Experience in working with large complex datasets, data warehousing and data modelling; nice to have
  • Experience with VS code and Git; nice to have;
  • Experience with dashboarding (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau); nice to have
  • Experience with Azure Cloud components (e.g. Azure data factory, Azure Data lake, Synapse etc); nice to have
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to create, challenge and improve processes pertaining to fair values;
  • Pro-active attitude, willingness to learn new things and a drive to continuously look for improvement;
  • You like to work with a diverse group of stakeholders in an international team and environment.

  • Gross salary based on experience and consistent with the market
  • 8% holiday allowance and 13th month payment.

  • Commuting allowance based on annual public transport 2nd class, most economical way, or € 0,21 per km with a max of 75km one way.
  • €5,00 net remote working compensation per day, with a maximum of €60,00 per month
