PwC’s Risk and Regulation (‘R&R’) team advises both the financial sector (such as banks and insurers) and non-financial companies on risk management, (financial) regulations, and financial supervision. We are a multidisciplinary team of professionals with a wide range of backgrounds from accounting, finance, and financial law to econometrics and physics.

To help us continue our successful growth, we are looking for colleagues who want to specialise in this area. As part of the R&R team, you will focus on advising on complex risk and regulatory issues.

What will you be doing?

As part of an international and inclusive team, you will be involved throughout the process, from the first contact with the client to the assignment’s completion. You will work closely with clients as part of a team. As a Senior Consultant at R&R, you will be involved in advising clients on a wide range of topics in the field of risk management, (financial) regulation and supervision issues, such as bank capital requirements (e.g. from CRR, CRD, Basel), prudential supervision (e.g. from Wft, EBA, ECB, DNB), and sustainability regulation and reporting (e.g. SFDR).

The consulting assignments for our clients are extremely varied. This includes providing advice and guidance on the implementation of new regulations, helping to interpret existing regulations, and assessing the impact on new products of both new and existing regulations. We also advise and assist with mergers and acquisitions.

In addition to consulting, you will also play an active role in business development. This includes organising seminars on new regulations.

  • You have at least two years of relevant professional work experience in a financial institution or consulting firm.

  • You have a completed master’s degree in economics, law, business administration, mathematics, economics, or a related study.

  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English and can easily adapt to changing work environments.
