The Role:
What makes your role as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Modeler at our client in The Hague unique? You will not only model mechanical building installations in 3D but also take on the technical design. This applies to both new and existing buildings. Collaborating with dedicated colleagues in a multidisciplinary setting, you will primarily work in the region, occasionally in diverse teams nationally. Expect plenty of collaboration and diversity in your tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models for mechanical building installations in Revit.
• Meticulously model the technical design, encompassing items from heat pumps to climate ceilings.
• Coordinate with colleagues from various specialties, ensuring seamless integration of work.
• Identify and resolve issues, often in collaboration with colleagues from the Electrical Engineering department.
• Thoroughly read specifications and project requirements from the program of demands and specifications.
• Exchange insights with on-site technicians to optimize work and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
• Contact suppliers for specifications and other relevant information.

Requirements:

• Minimum vocational education (MBO) level.
• Background in mechanical engineering through education or experience.
• Some experience with Revit and AutoCAD would be beneficial.
• VCA-VOL and MIT- or HIT-diploma, or the ambition to attain these.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch, English is a plus.
