Production Manager

About the job

This job involves doing many different things in our organization and comes with a lot of responsibility. You'll be in charge of our production division, making sure our robots are made and delivered on time and ready for operation. But it's not just about today – you'll also be thinking about how we can make our division successful in the future. This means figuring out how to make more products, improving the way we do things, and deciding what kind of people we'll need on our team. You'll be working closely with leaders from other parts of the company and with your own team members. The cool part is, you get a lot of say in how things are done. You'll be reporting to the COO.

Your key responsibilities:

-Making sure that the robots which are sold are being delivered and are of excellent quality. This includes:

  • Overview supply chain: managing supplier relations and deals, procurement and aligning with finance.
  • Be the first line of contact for our main suppliers
  • Overview the assembly process and direct for optimalisations where required
  • Setup and maintain good quality assurance & control procedures to make sure the delivered machines are of excellent quality.

- If required: Setup new production structures for our new robots: from supply chain to quality control.

- Managing and expanding our production division in all aspects. From HR to Supply Chain.

- Supervise production team members: 1 mechanic, 1 engineer and 1 paint booth operator.

- Facility management: Overview and implement HSE policies, so that our working spaces are safe, representative and available.

- Warehousing: oversee our warehouse and implement new policies if required.

- Communicate about the requirements which are necessary for production within the organisation. From engineering feedback to setting up vacancies.

- Start implementation of ISO 9001 procedures within the company.

Whom are we looking for?

Professional qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, or good organizational skills with strong technical background
  • 5+ years of technical experience, preferably in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch is highly desired
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Operating under KISS principle: You’re able to keep things short and simple
  • You know how processes should flow and you take ownership in setting them up
  • Experience within a production environment
  • Not afraid to make decisions
  • Knowledge and insights in HSE standards

Salary range EUR 3500-4400 per month.
Salary will be determined based on seniority of the candidate.
