As a Production Team Leader, you are responsible for ensuring the most efficient production and proper staffing planning. With your leadership, you guide and motivate colleagues to bring out the best in themselves and each other.

What will you do?

As a Production Team Leader at Sif, you are the first point of contact for a team of employees with diverse nationalities, and you are responsible for the operation and performance of your team. This means you are accountable for streamlined processes, proper planning, and achieving production targets. In Roermond, the focus is mainly on manufacturing sections that are subsequently shipped to the Second Maasvlakte. Additionally, you act as the link between different departments such as Logistics, Production Management, HR, and TD. You have overall responsibility for the operation of your team. These teams consist of individuals with various nationalities and face different challenges, so it is important that you speak Dutch and English fluently.

Where will you be?

As a Production Team Leader (we refer to this as Hal Coördinator), you will be part of a team of 14 production team leaders, collectively leading over 300 production employees. You report to one of the three Production Managers, who, in turn, report to the Plant Manager. You will be located at our Maasvlakte 2 facility.

Who are you?

• You have experience in leadership and/or guiding people.
• You possess a good amount of self-confidence.
• You have a strong safety and quality awareness.
• You excel in planning and organizing.
• You have completed a technical vocational education (MBO) program.
• You have a production and/or metal background.
• You have good verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Proficiency in the German language is definitely a plus.
