PRICING & TENDER ANALYST – NIJMEGEN

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS PRICING & TENDER ANALYST?

In this role you will analyze customer tenders, after which you will determine the response and pricing strategy based on models. You will build analytical models regarding cost and pricing and you will perform in-depth analyzes on transaction and operational data to support our decisions. In this way you ensure that the necessary approvals are obtained and a timely and complete offer is made to the customer. You will monitor the results of pricing decisions/actions by evaluating performance in relation to the objectives, budget and expected margin impact. You also perform various analyzes on the profitability and cost models and provide reports to support CEVA in commercial decisions. You will monitor market trends (including surcharges, seasonality, industries) and other factors that influence rates to support the pricing strategy. Finally, you are improving existing tools and designing/implementing new solutions under the guidance of the Solution Design Head. You generate business requirements documents for model development and implementation transfer needs.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE MATCH WITH YOU?

  • 1-3 years of experience in an analytical or data related role;
  • Strong analytical and research skills and good problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team;
  • Experienced in ensuring data quality and tool integrity;
  • Business acumen and good knowledge of logistics operations, specifically experience with road transport;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in an international business organization. Comfort to work in a commercial and results-oriented organization;
  • Planning and coordination skills;
  • Experience with data visualization or processing;
  • Experience as a Transport Planner or Transport Coordinator is an advantage;
  • Advising with Impact capabilities in a commercial and results-oriented organization;
  • Expertise with MS Office (particularly Excel);
  • Experience with Tableau, Qlik or Power BI is a plus;
  • Demonstrated success in developing pricing solutions;
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus;

WHERE WILL YOU BE WORKING?

You will work at our office in Nijmegen, where there is plenty of room for fun and bonding! Here you are part of CEVA's Ground & Rail. You are also often on the road to visit CEVA branches. You will provide support to the Business Development Managers in formalizing reports for management level and regional assessments. You also work together with various departments, such as purchasing or operations, to stay informed of developments at market level and Best Practices.
