    The Demand Planning Senior Analyst will be responsible for partnering with S&OE and commercial teams to generate statistical forecasts and finalizing the consensus demand plan every month over the demand planning horizon. It will be the demand planner's responsibility to fully deploy the advanced demand planning tool OMP to drive the monthly demand planning process through it.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for all data integrity in the demand planning software OMP
    • Deploy the demand planning process in OMP to run the end-to-end demand planning cycle from the generation of statistical forecast to finalizing the consensus forecast
    • Manage the statistical forecasting process and propose and implement solutions to improve accuracy in demand forecasting
    • The person constructively challenges S&OE/sales/PLM/finance to achieve accurate and robust forecasts.
    • Responsible for the consolidation and validation of all forecasts aligning with sales budget, business needs, operational requirements and supply chain constraints
    • Have regular sessions with S&OE and Commercial to understand the forecast dynamics (eg; seasonality, pull forward activity, market conditions, competitive landscape, cannibalization), in order to use as a basis for the future forecast.
    • Ensure all new product launches are incorporated into the demand plan.
    • Coordinate cross-functional/site research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
    • Interact with S&OE, sales, marketing, and commercial finance to understand demand forecast drivers to ensure latest market intelligence is incorporated into the demand plan and sell through forecast.
    • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with S&OE, Sales, Marketing and Customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
    • Contribute to the monthly S&OP cycle, making sure all analysis, reports etc are up to date for the region.
    • Active involvement in the definition of annual operating plan sales forecast and asset loading.
    • Deliver regular reporting and presentations to high-level executives.
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the latest information is always available to the supply chain.
      • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related discipline. APICS certified preferred.
      • 6 years or above solid experience in demand or supply planning.
      • Proficiency with demand planning tools like OMP (preferred) / others
      • High level of computer proficiency is required. (Microsoft Office, Internet, Google Suite, ERP systems, etc)
      • Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills and detail-oriented
      • Know the nuances of statistical methods and algorithms involved in forecasting
      • High degree of commitment, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail.
      • Ability to work well in a team environment, facilitate meetings, and influence others.
      • Ability to work well under pressure, while recognizing and addressing systemic issues.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
      • Experience in forecasting and mathematical trend analysis.
      • Self-motivated, results-driven individual with a proven track record of process implementation.
