Then this might be the opportunity for you. We are looking for a full time Equity Analyst, with a keen interest in sustainable investing. Within this role you have the opportunity to help shape our equity funds and develop yourself in the sustainable investment space.

Your role

Within the broader equity department, you will be part of the product team that manages the sustainable active equity fund range of Cardano. Your input will be used in making key investment decisions in order generate sustainable returns for our clients. To do this you will analyze financial statements and research reports, meet with senior management of listed companies and build/maintain financial models to assess the fair value or mismatches of market expectations of individual stocks. Furthermore, you will develop sector and theme knowhow, through your own previous expertise but also through the Study of external material to understand market trends and to form your own opinion. After your analysis you are expected to discuss ESG challenges and opportunities with our inhouse sustainability experts as well as present your own conclusions and investment ideas to our investment team. Work as a thematic equity analyst is challenging, which brings its own benefits through building expertise and interesting conversations to be held internally and externally.

Basic qualifications

• You have an intrinsic interest in sustainable investing/sustainability.
• You have a university degree in fields related to Econometrics, Business Economics, Economics, Business Administration and/or similar fields with focus on Sustainability.
• You feel responsible for what you do, you are involved and quality oriented.
• You have a high degree of integrity, loyalty and a true team player.
• You are accurate in your work, and you approach it in an analytical way (also under pressure).
• You are a curious person and want exactly to know how things work.

Preferred qualifications

• You have previous experience in equity research in the financials or materials sector or are willing to dive into this sector.
• You have previous experiences in sustainable equity research or equity fair value modelling.
• You are able to express yourself clearly to colleagues and customers in both Dutch and English.
• You are a team player and likes to work in a team, but you are also able to work independently.
• You have finished or are prepared to get a CFA, CAIA or VBA certification.
