About the role
The Group Finance Transformation Manager supports the realization of the performance strategy of the Company by providing leadership and support during a journey to optimize the entire Finance function of Accell Group.This role leads the implementation of our Finance process improvement program. Focus is to reduce manual and repetitive transactional tasks to a very large extend enabling the Accounting and Business Control and other Finance expert teams to focus on high level value adding efforts. This may include other types of efficiencies like pooling of activities into regional and/or global centers of competence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the vision and strategy for the global finance function of Accell Group in close cooperation with Finance senior leadership;
  • Facilitate the creation of finance and finance related process standards and ensure these are applied in a repeatable way across the global finance function and in the different entities;
  • Examples of processes to be aligned/made more efficient might be Purchase to Pay, Uploading/Automate uploads of financial statements to consolidation tooling and forecasting;
  • Assist in setting business and information architecture standards for the global finance function and ensure architectural compliance with the Company’s Internal Control Framework;
  • Provide leadership for finance processes including bringing new ideas, solutions, and/or best practices to the design and operational teams;
  • Act as Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders, working in close collaboration with other/regional finance SMEs;
  • Optimize the internal and external audit functions through effective use of digitalization;
  • Lead the Business Process Optimalisation of the global finance function to support organizational growth by ensuring efficiency in financial information processes and high quality of financial data;
  • Develop communication and training plans to ensure smooth implementation of process changes across the global Finance function;
  • When in 2024/2025 implementation of the new ERP system (Microsoft 365) will be kicked off, this project will also be main part of responsibilities and there will be a transition made into this project team

Qualifications

  • Able to understand and decipher financial statements as well as have a solid understanding of common and Best in Class financial processes;
  • Experience with implementing new ERP systems, preferably Microsoft 365;
  • Independent and accountable, always looking to leverage technical skills to improve processes and analyses;
  • Naturally inclined to troubleshoot issues and resolve challenges;
  • Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills and ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively at all levels of the organization;
  • Self-motivated with the energy and ability to take initiative on relevant issues;
  • Experienced in working in an international environment;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Minimum of 10 years in various Finance management roles with proven track record of process improvement and team developments.
