Responsibilities of a Business Controller:

• Participation and assistance in preparing, coordinating, and delivering various reports, encompassing monthly and quarterly submissions, annual budgets, and strategic plans.
• Crafting presentations and offering analytical insights on results to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of critical business issues, such as pricing, cost analysis, operating cash performance, and forecasts, with a focus on providing lucid analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Aiding in the capital program through capex reporting and analysis
• Reviewing and analysing financial performance.
• Engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders on various business-related topics and projects, utilising business intelligence tools to furnish comprehensive analysis and insights.
• Fulfilling requests for ad hoc information and analysis from senior and executive management.

Essential skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience gained in either a professional practice or corporate environment (ideally commerce & industry).
• Proficient understanding of reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Familiarity with financial modelling.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork capabilities
• Demonstrated proficiency in analysing and verifying financial and performance data.
• The ability to communicate financial information and trends through various formats.
• Established track record of efficiently managing workflows involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen.
