FP&A Specialist

Logistics at full potential


Over the past year, GXO has achieved strong growth in its logistics activities, which we will continue in 2024. We are looking for an FP&A Specialist to prepare financial reports and analyses for our region/entities.



What you do on a typical day
As an FP&A Specialist, you are responsible for managing/coordinating the planning and control cycles. Consolidate financial reporting and analysis for the monthly updates, budget and revised forecasts. This organization is large and international with more than 15 entities. You analyze underlying reports of the business controllers and translate this into a consolidated insight. In addition, you manage the planning and control cycle. You enjoy contributing to the improvement and development of all procedures in your department.

As an FP&A Specialist, you will work at our head office in Eindhoven and partly at home, reporting directly to Jackeline, the FP&A Manager Group Control / Group Reporting.


Other activities:

  • Planning, organising, and coordinating the consolidation process
  • Preparation of the periodic group consolidation and reports for the management
  • Manage, set out and follow up on the budget/projections process
  • Analysing and summarizing the reports (budget, actuals, weeklies, projections)
  • Co-developing, improving and implementing Group planning & control procedures
  • Docuware management. Consider, for example, the creation of users/numbers, writing manuals and drawing up reports
  • Modelling and follow-up of business reviews in the financial field
  • Monitoring/tracking levers
  • Modelling templates (weekly, rolling forecast, projected budget)

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • A completed bachelor's degree in business economics or accountancy
  • Relevant professional experience with the consolidation process at group level
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and an advantage is knowledge of Lucanet & HFM
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, in Dutch and in English
  • Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving skills. Sharp on the detail
  • Able to efficiently prioritize and perform his or her tasks
