As the Team Lead Financial Accounting at Sunweb Group, you'll play a crucial role in delivering a correct and comprehensive financial picture of our organization and its foreign entities. Your responsibilities include safeguarding various finance-related processes such as tax declarations, payroll, and treasury functions. Additionally, you'll contribute to finance-related projects aimed at process improvement and provide input for financial analysis.

Your impact

• You ensure the efficient and effective month-end close process of the accounting team, delivering accurate and complete month-end reporting.
• You and your team handle various processes, including tax returns, various treasury-related processes, and the administration of our hotel chain in the French Alps.
• You collaborate with the Financial Planning & Control team to manage the annual statement process and group audit, maintaining direct communication with foreign auditing firms/administrative offices for our foreign entities.
• You contribute to the digitalization of administrative processes within Sunweb Group, aligning with our goal of becoming the leading digital Tour Operator in Europe.
• You lead and coach your team consisting of 4 financial accountants.
• You are involvedin various financial projects related to internal control, the implementation of newpolicies, or the implementation of new accounting software.

Job requirements

What skills will bring you to the top?

• Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration.
• Minimum of 7 years of financial accountancy experience, preferably with team lead experience.
• Solid accounting knowledge encompassing basic processes, tax, annual statement preparation, internal control, and payroll.
• Proficiency in relevant ERP systems and Microsoft Office packages.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively, both individually and as a team.
• Self-motivated with the capability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
