What we expect from you:

  1. Financial Strategy, Reporting, and Analysis:
    • Constructing and sustaining robust financial models to predict performance, assess investments, and guide strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborating across business functions to create and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking overall business performance.
    • Leading the development and implementation of long-term financial strategies aligned with the company's overarching business goals.
    • Assisting in the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial reports, encompassing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
    • Conducting thorough financial analysis to identify critical trends, opportunities, and risks across all business units.
  2. Investment and Capital Allocation:
    • Identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities in line with the company's strategic growth objectives, including but not limited to M&A, partnerships, etcetera.
    • Managing the company's capital allocation process to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  3. Financial Modeling and Valuation:
    • Designing and constructing sophisticated financial models to maintain budgets and long-range plans.
    • Conducting company valuation analysis to assess the strategic and investor relations positioning of the company for strategic purposes.
  4. General Industry Research and Intelligence:
    • Conducting market research and competitive benchmarking to evaluate the company's positioning and strategic direction.

What does your profile look like?
As a FP&A Manager, you are expected to meet the following criteria:

  • Possess 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, and/or strategic finance/corporate finance roles, preferably within a high-growth tech and tech-enabled company.
  • Proven experience working with financial software, SaaS solutions, and other technology tools in a high-growth tech and tech-enabled company.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach and a bias towards taking initiatives and actions.
  • Excel in communication and presentation, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.
  • Have a proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Be proficient in financial modeling software, including but not limited to Excel, Google Sheets, and financial reporting tools.
  • Be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent proficiency in both the Dutch and English languages.
  • Be fully available and reside in the Amsterdam area.
