As Medior Policy Officer FEC Global Sanctions, you play a critical role in ensuring that Rabobank meets Sanctions requirements and effectively manages Sanctions risks. You have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of procedures, guidance and support programs to enhance the bank's compliance with Sanctions regulations and our ability to manage sanctions risks effectively.

This proactive approach is crucial to reach the Sanctions purpose: Together we safeguard our customers, the bank and society by detecting and preventing sanctions violations.

Your role as Medior Policy Officer FEC Global Sanctions involves developing and implementing procedures and guidance, based on policies and standards from second line. You are involved in impact assessments, implementation of sanction packages and customer end-to-end processes. You closely work with your colleagues in Control Standards and support your Rabobank colleagues in the Sanctions domain.

Your top 3 responsibilities

  • Global ownership of Sanctions risk procedures and guidelines, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and meet the bank’s global standards, the Wwft, Sanctions Laws and associated regulations
  • Write clear, concise and unambiguous Sanctions Procedures and Guidance
  • Work with FEC and other front line stakeholders to develop solutions to new or changing Sanctions requirements arising from local laws or regulations in each region/country relevant to the business division (as far as this relates to Sanctions Procedures

You and your talent

  • A must have: 3+ years’ relevant work experience, preferably including experience writing policies
  • Knowledge and experience in the area of Sanctions Law, Wwft, Sanctions compliance and regulations, with a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and emerging trends.
  • Ability to conduct complex reviews and investigations to identify potential risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Demonstrated experience with stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Focus on knowledge building and keeping up with developments in the industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in both English and Dutch.

This is what we offer you

  • Scale 8 or 9, depending on your knowledge and experience. With a maximum of € 5.811,03.
  • Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.
  • An extra budget of 10 or 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
  • A combination of working from home and at the office.
