Senior Pega Engineer

Together with your squad you will be working on complex pricing applications to determine pricing for our corporate and retail clients in the Portfolio Steering & Products area, which is lined up to steer our financing portfolio of approximately EUR 100 mrd.

You and your job

Together with your squad you are responsible for changing and running the Pega solutions you deliver. This requires a specific and challenging mind-set: the ability and willingness to have responsibility for the full development process, from requirements to the (continuous) delivery pipeline, up to running in the production environment. You do not only focus on realising business requirements but also take operational and continuous delivery requirements into account, such as security, maintainability and test automation.

Practical Examples

  • Developing the Tariff Orchestration Layer as one of the applications to provide tariff information to the requestors for sales and service processes.
  • Drafting and maintaining the API’s for the three applications for which the team is responsible.
  • Getting involved in discussions regarding the desired solution and design with various stakeholders like business partners, architects and other squads and create manageable work packages.
  • Helping your team improve in the DevOps way of working, taking ownership to the team and share your business knowledge.

Top 3 responsibilities

The complexity of the job lies in ensuring a balance between running and changing the systems. In achieving this balance you can really put your development, cooperation and communication capabilities to work!
