We are currently recruiting for an IT On-Site Support Team Lead for our Systems Division in Amsterdam .

The MBE subsidiary based in The Netherlands is a network of branches (Germany Branch (Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich), Spain Branch (Madrid, Barcelona), Belgium Branch (Brussels), Austria Branch (Vienna)), managed from Amsterdam.

As part of IT Service Delivery, you will contribute to the provision of system support ensuring effective delivery to meet user needs in line with agreed procedures and service standards. You will also manage the team and coordinate all activities in the team.

Systems Division supports MBE’s IT structures with regard to IT applications, infrastructure, and hardware.

The role includes the following:

  • Team Management – On-site Support.
  • Partly hands-on, part team coordination 50/50.
  • Coordinates activities and tasks within IT On-Site Support Team including other activities and tasks which fall under the remit of IT Service Delivery.
  • Can lead minor IT projects.
  • Identify and diagnose issues and problems.
  • Categorize and record reported queries and provide solutions.
  • Advise users on appropriate course of action.
  • Monitor issues from start to resolution.
  • Maintaining the CMDB.
  • Handling service requests via standard work instructions.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day operations of IT-infrastructure and Applications by executing daily operational tasks.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation necessary for daily operation.
  • Ensure procedure manuals are updated and that other team members are aware of changes.
  • Support and contribute to bringing IT-related changes/projects to production.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank’s rules, policies, procedures, and guidelines together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Support the local IT-service people in different branches (Belgium, Madrid, Austria and others).

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

Skills and experience:

  • The function requires an intellectual and working background minimal at HBO level
  • Experience in working in an environment with the formal incident, request fulfilment and change processes. Has minimum of 2 years in team leadership.
  • Good knowledge of the ITIL processes.
  • Good knowledge of ServiceNow is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Windows client and server operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Basic knowledge of different IT platforms (Vmware, Citrix, VDI)
  • Basic knowledge of networks and IT security.
  • Experience in Banking is a plus
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English is essential. Additional Dutch language is preferred
  • Taking the initiative to contribute to improvements in the team.
