Position Overview:

As an IT Risk & Control Officer, you will work within the IT Risk Management team to ensure that a sufficiently robust control environment is in place across the global Aegon Asset Management technology organization. The IT Risk & Control Officer will support the Head of IT Risk to ensure that control objectives are being met and are able to be evidenced.

As an IT Risk & Control Officer, you will have strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills. You will have excellent teamwork, collaboration, interpersonal, organizational and relationship management skills. You will be able to balance business as usual activities with project work and will proactively manage your own workload and multi-task within an evolving environment and global team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate within the Second Line of Defense to provide assurance of IT and Information Security control design and operating effectiveness.
• Analyze testing results to ensure teams are adhering to prescribed policies, standards and controls.
• Maintain risk and control data withing risk and control management tooling.
• Support the control attestation process.
• Serve as an IT and Information Security control subject matter expert by advising and guiding global initiatives such as risk assessments and remediation of issues.
• Provide input into testing strategies.
• Support other IT risk management activities.

As IT Risk & Control Officer we expect you to have a pro-active working approach, a strong drive and sense of responsibility. Furthermore you:

• Relevant experience in Internal Controls, IT Risk Management, IT Auditing, Information Security, or relevant experience - we estimate that you have 3 to 5 years of experience but are open to applications outside of this range.
• Control Assessment skills
• Analytical skills
• Technology related experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Good sense of humor
