Meeting & Events Coordinator    The Meeting & Events Coordinator is a confident, organized, and proactive support for the hotel. You are the key point of contact between guests, the reservations department and the hotel for Meeting, Events, and banqueting. You are the contact person for the meetings from the operational point of view.   Your Role: - Takes over the meeting/groups booking from the reservations department as soon as the quotation is signed, however still make sure that reservation stays in the loop in case of any changes. - Prepares the room list for each week. - Manages the operational preparation for all meeting and events in the hotel, including guest deposits, Invoicing, cut-off dates, operations and contact relationships.  - Be aware of the agreed prices for each type of meeting to be confirm a last-minute meeting request. - Checks for accuracy on all booking sheets, contracts to verify that they are in accordance with operational guidelines (e.g., inventory, availability, operating procedures.) - Takes meeting and events enquires and any room bookings alongside them. - Is responsible for keeping all the heads of department informed about the business. - Orders or rents meeting equipment when necessary - Broad understanding of facility management including ability to manage guest room, dining and meeting space inventories. - Be knowledgeable of overall hotel operations - Hosts meeting and events and assists with the operation, you are either the host during the event or makes sure there is someone else dedicated to the event. - Coordinates all pertinent information with the relevant hotel associates and makes sure everything is prepared accordingly. - Discuss groups dinners with the kitchen and restaurant. - Does after sales to see where we can improve for the future and to keep the relationship warm with the guests. - Answers reviews from guests linked to the Restaurant. - Generate reports and analytic
