Cardano is looking for a Junior Cash Management Analyst for the Cash Management team. We are looking for a person with an interest in cash management processes who can help us execute and settle OTC derivatives, cash and bond transactions. Your role

We carry out many derivatives and bond transactions for our Dutch and UK clients. Cash flows are generated from these transactions and from the existing positions. As a cash analyst, you are responsible for the correct and timely settlement of these cash flows. You ensure that there is enough funding available, invest excess cash in Money Market Funds on a daily basis and communicate with large financial counterparties about open (cash) positions on a daily basis. You have a lot of responsibilities within your position and therefore should be able to deal with high stress environments, while keeping calm and accurate.

Within Cardano you are the first point of contact for all cash-related questions and for that reason you have contact with Client Directors, Portfolio Managers and of course your direct colleagues from the Operations team in the Netherlands and the UK. As part of your duties, you will work with colleagues on long-term projects. For example, these can be projects to align our processes as much as possible with the latest sector developments. Ultimately, your ambition determines what you want to work on. The first phase of your work journey will mainly focus on learning the cash management processes.

You understand that we are looking for a candidate with an interest in a varied role with many different possibilities and responsibilities that contributes to the diversity of the team! Your qualifications

• You have successfully completed a HBO/WO in Business Economics, Business Administration, Economics or similar finance study;
• You have 0-5 years of work experience, preferably in a cash management or operations role within a financial institution;
• You are looking for full-time employment (40 hour contract);
• You feel responsible for what you do, you are committed and quality-oriented. In addition you have a healthy dose of perseverance;
• You are a detailed and accurate individual;
• You are a structured individual with good time management skills;
• You like to work in a dynamic environment and can adapt quickly;
• You are flexible in the collaboration within a team and you are able to express yourself clearly to colleagues and customers in both Dutch or English;
• You think it is important that everyone in the Netherlands receives a good pension.
