Monitoring on the goals, risk based, keeping this balance of the challenging business partner to reach the goals set.

Your contribution to TenneT

As Finance Project Controller you are responsible for the (financial) planning process and the related management reporting. Key are reliability and predictability. Timely flagging and acting on (potential) issues is essential to mitigate risks and therefore meeting the goals of the cluster Borssele. In this growing and developing environment you are empowered to advice – on request or proactively – and to implement the necessary solutions. As Finance Project Controller you are responsible for the project control of the Cluster Borssele. In close collaboration with your colleagues you ensure the reliable and predictable reporting for the Cluster Borssele which consists of three grid connection systems and the offshore hybrid asset - LionLink.
  • In this role you work together and challenge the team regarding the forecasts and IPP and aggregates the quality assured budget / forecast, which is connected to an integrated planning.
  • You act as team member for the contracts to manage claims, cashflow and change requests.
  • You work in a dynamic project environment.
  • You make the timely and adequate management reports, e.g. decision, change requests and exception reports.

Your profile and background

  • Relevant HBO/WO education (NL), vocational training in business administration with advanced qualification in Controlling or University degree in finance /Business Administration or commercial graduate in business administration
  • Alternatively you have a comparable qualification/experience.
  • At least 3 years work experience in controlling / accounting, including knowledge of IFRS
  • You show a pragmatic, structured and proactive work style and the ability to work in a team. This is for you just as natural as strong communication skills and very good English skills.
  • Knowledge in energy sector and/or including large construction projects is an advantage
  • Practical experience in MS Office (esp. Excel, Word and Powerpoint) and SAP

  • The salary indication for this role is between € 4.369,- and € 8.594,- gross per month based on 40 hours in salary scale 9 of our TSO collective labor agreement.
