About Cardano

Cardano Risk Management was founded in 2000 from the conviction that in an uncertain world everyone should be able to count on a fair pension. We believe in a just society in which our financial system contributes to the quality of life. In an irrational, uncertain world with a financial system that regularly runs amok, we feel responsible to watch over other people's money. We therefore help to secure people's ability to live in their good old age. We do this by eradicating unwanted and unrewarded risks and embracing the risks that are necessary to make people and society more resilient. Since its foundation in 2000, Cardano has supported many European pension funds, insurers and other financial end users with strategic advice, implementation and management of investment strategies, manager research and selection. Every year, Cardano executes €150+ billion worth of transactions on behalf of clients, including interest rate, currency, inflation and equity derivatives and (government) bonds. Cardano Asset Management (formerly known as ACTIAM) is the leading responsible asset and fund manager in the Netherlands. As an authority in the area of sustainable and impact investing, we are proud of the results we have achieved. We put ourselves in the client’s position and are not afraid of making decisions. We are fully aware of our responsibility towards society, and we have taken this responsibility seriously for many years. Sustainable investment management is our edge in which we continue to invest.
