About SpendLab
SpendLab helps over 170 organizations annually with the recovery of overpaid payments, also known as accounts payable recovery audits. SpendLab investigates outgoing cash flows and incorrectly processed VAT within financial administrations using more than 450 in-house developed algorithms. We analyze the invoice and payment flows of large private and public organizations to identify inaccuracies based on a no-cure, no-pay basis. Additionally, we assist organizations in achieving cost savings through procurement and process optimization.

What we expect from you:
In the role of Account Director EMEA, we count on you to:
  • Drive Revenue : Take charge of the complete sales cycle for large enterprises, from prospecting to closing and activation.
  • Execute on Sales Growth: Achieves assigned sales quota through direct selling of our products and services to executive management and C-1 by identifying potential customers and secure their business for Spendlab.
  • Strategic Planning : Develop and execute strategies for prospecting, product demos, and deal closures, consistently exceeding quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Consultative Selling : Analyze customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and forge enduring relationships.
  • Achieve Results : Prioritize pipeline generation, revenue growth, and forecast accuracy while motivating your team.
  • Stakeholder Management : Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including C-suite executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaboration : Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to channel customer feedback.
  • Solution Sales : Lead complex solution sales, particularly recovery audits and risk services, directly to executive management.
  • Customer Acquisition : Identify potential customers and create strategies to secure their business.
  • Marketing and Proposals : Develop field-level marketing plans, prepare RFP responses, and manage sales forecasts.
  • Customer Relations : Ensure customer satisfaction, collaborate with company teams for prompt service, and stay updated on company procedures and product pricing.

What does your profile look like?
Do you possess the qualifications to excel as an Account Director EMEA?

  • Industry Expertise : Minimum of six years selling to Accounting, Finance, and Procurement departments within Fortune 1000 companies.
  • SaaS Sales Experience : Six or more years in a quota-carrying, full-cycle SaaS sales role, demonstrating proficiency in prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing.
  • Outsourced Services : Valuable experience in selling outsourced financial services.
  • Consulting Acumen : Big 4 Consulting experience is a significant asset.
  • Global Outreach : Comfortable with international travel for client presentations and face-to-face interactions.
  • Deal Closure : Proven track record of closing multiple deals per quarter, each with an average ACV (Annual Contract Value) of €75K or more (preferably €100K or more).
  • Product Demonstrations : Demonstrated expertise in outbound prospecting and conducting product demos.
  • Consultative Approach : Proficient in a consultative sales approach, leveraging analytical and quantitative competencies. Ability to initiate and manage multi-quarter complex projects.
  • Performance Track Record : Consistently meets or exceeds sales targets in high-energy, fast-paced settings.
  • Network: You have a network of large accounts, particulary a network of CFO’s.
