We are looking for a Demand Planning Manager

As a Demand Planning Manager, you are someone who sees the bigger picture still with being detail-oriented. Multitasking and excellent time management are the key to your success and to ours as a team. You are a strong leader who is able to influence various departments and decision-makers within the company. In this position, you will work closely with Sales, Finance, Production, Supply Chain, Marketing & Customer Service.

Your main goals:

  1. Bring Demand Planning to the center of analysis and advise level.
  2. Build together with the Supply Planning Team an S&OP Process.
  3. Develop New Forecast Accuracy Model.
  4. Together with the Demand Planning Team further develop the New Forecast Methodology and proposing new improvements to the current way of working.

Role & responsibilities:

  1. Provide analytics to reconcile cycle over cycle demand plan changes and supports gap closing decisions
  2. Identifying opportunities for revenue growth by researching new markets and products
  3. Develop and update reports timely and accurately
  4. Review sales forecasts and risks & opportunities to explain and contain gaps between the Demand Plan and the Sales Plan
  5. Offer analytical support to provide fact-based evidence of areas of improvements (shortages/allocations, lack of information, delayed information, IT issues)
  6. Managing price increase campaigns
  7. Management of budget and the February and September forecast processes

Candidate profile:

  1. Knowledge and experience with forecasting, demand planning, innovation planning, and S&OP required
  2. Strong analytical and modeling skills with hands-on experience with forecasting and planning tools
  3. Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously
  4. Ability to work within and across multiple and diverse functional teams, collaborating with Commercial, Supply Planning, Finance, Marketing, and Production stakeholders
  5. Execution oriented – thrive under pressure with a demonstrated ability to get things done
  6. Strong attention to detail – ability to accurately manage, update, maintain large datasets
  7. Strong written and oral communication skills
  8. Dutch and English language skills required
