You will join a DevOps team that is responsible for an automation solution for a Self Service Product that enable hundreds of internal DevOps teams to do the deployments and changes of the Network Solution they are responsible for in a standardized, secure and compliant way.

Your job

For the Customer- Network Enablement Team (C-NET) we are looking for an experienced technical Product Owner with strong communication skills and a technical background.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing features of the backlog for network-related products or services within the Azure landscape.

In this team, the main focus lies on the development and maintenance of a solution that enables DevOps Teams to deploy and manage their Network Solution and connectivity. Since there are more than 600 DevOps teams active on our Platform, it needs to be highly automated, and self-service based. The DevOps team works in sprints of two weeks to deliver Business Value, the main product they develop and maintain is the Self-Service Network Solution tool. This is an Azure DevOps automation product all FSCP customers are depending on for their network solution deployments and changes.

Your role will include collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, dependencies and priorities. Creating backlog items and communicate (technical) requirements to the development team. Keep the roadmap updated and aligned with the Target State of ABN Amro's Public Cloud platform. Ensure the team always has work ready for the next Sprint and Program Increment to deliver maximum business value. Your activities involve staying abreast of Azure (network) technologies, best practices and ensuring compliance of the products.You also prioritise and coordinate where needed day-to-day operations and unforeseen events within your product scope.

Working environment

We are implementing Azure Cloud Services as a strategic platform in a DevOps and Agile way of working. The candidate will become part of the PCP Azure Engineering department that consists of six platform Devops teams all working within a technology domain. Said department is part of a the larger Public Cloud platforms department, consisting of 150 people building and managing ABN AMRO's strategic public cloud. We work hybrid and meet onsite one day a week.

Your profile

Must have:

  • Microsoft Azure certified Solution Architect (AZ-305) and/or Azure DevOps (AZ-400)
  • Solid experience with Agile methodologies, including creating and prioritizing user stories, managing backlogs, and facilitating sprints and increments plannings in Azure Boards.
  • Experience in the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and Azure specialists to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Skillful prioritization of features and backlog items based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer needs.
  • Team player with user-centric approach, strong security focus and is risk aware.
  • Interestedin traditional and cloud networking.
  • Growth mind-set and service oriented.

Nice to have:

  • ITILv4 certification
  • Azure certification like AZ-700 and AZ-500 are a big advantage.
  • Experience with Jira Align
  • Experience in creatingrequirements for orchestration of application infrastructure and be able to translate it to requirements for Infrastructure as Code and automation around it.
  • Experience and knowledge about traditional IT Infrastructure.
  • Experience in a Cloud Centre of Expertise (CCoE).
