Your role:

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will lead the creation of solution designs for projects and oversee the broader application and integration landscape, including the Azure Data Center managed by an external party. Serving as the Product Owner for Azure Data Center architecture, you will manage current and future workloads, call center solutions, connectivity, security, and cost management in collaboration with a managed services partner.

Your responsibilities extend to implementing a standardized architecture tool for clear design documentation accessible to all stakeholders. Collaborating closely with Partner Architects and Engineers, you will define solutions and execute projects on both managed and Azure infrastructure. Infrastructure management, including networking and firewall configurations, falls under your purview.

Initiating and supporting Identity and Access Management processes, you will extend coverage to Azure Active Directory. You will also validate and monitor Azure backups and patching policies alongside the application management team.

In terms of disaster recovery, you will define the scope of annual exercises and support their execution, including Azure components. Ownership of GBI architecture documents, high-level and low-level diagrams, and design decision implementations are vital aspects of your role.

Finally, you will provide control evidence for the architecture domain in Cerrix. Your role as a Solutions Architect is pivotal in ensuring effective Azure Data Center management and architecture within the organization.

Skills/Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• MS Azure Expertise: Profound knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Azure, encompassing architecture, solutions, security, integration, business applications, and cost optimization.
• Infrastructure Engineering: Strong skills in Azure Cloud infrastructure, including DevOps principles and networking, for designing and managing cloud environments.
• Integration Development: Familiarity with Azure integration development tools and techniques.
  
  
• Product Owner Skills: Demonstrated the ability to act as a Product Owner, showcasing leadership and initiative in driving team initiatives.
• Stakeholder Management: You have a track record of effectively managing stakeholders, reporting, and budgeting, demonstrating business acumen.

Education:
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Certifications: Acquired Microsoft Azure certifications (Architecting Solutions, Administration, Server Infrastructure, Network Engineering, Access Management, Cybersecurity) to validate technical proficiency.

Experience:

• Architect Consultant: Accumulated a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an architect consultant during projects and operations, applying technical skills to real-world scenarios and problem-solving.
