For our client in Utrecht we are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Treasury Analyst (m/f/x) to manage our client' financial activities related to treasury functions.

Tasks and responsibilities of the Treasury Analyst in Utrecht:

Cash Management:

• Manage daily cash balances and cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity needs are met
• Monitor bank account activities, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
• Execute daily cash positioning and coordinate funding requirements

Financial Risk Management:

• Identify and analyse financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and liquidity risk
• Monitor market conditions and assess potential impacts on the company's financial position

Treasury Operations:

• Execute treasury transactions, including FX deal and intercompany loans
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare regular reports on cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk exposure
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management
• Prepare and submit necessary reports, including banking compliance reports. Assist in audits as required

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation within the treasury function
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or related field
• Proficiency in financial cash flow modelling and analysis
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
