Within Triodos Regenerative Money Centre (TRMC) we are searching for a mission driven and ambitious

Investment Manager (32-40 hours a week)

Able to work independently and knows how to take ownership.

Profile

As Investment Manager your key responsibilities are

• Visibility in the market to attract / generate new leads in early stage sustainable impact Investments (start-ups and scale-ups) in Europe
• Represents TRMC in- & outside Triodos
• Assessing pitch decks and Business plans and selecting prospects in line with the Investment Strategy and the Funds risk appetite, perform due diligence, write Investment proposals, and bring them successfully to our Investment Committee
• Structuring and negotiating all aspects of transactions, including the preparation of Investment and legal documentation
• Monitoring and managing our equity / loan Investment portfolio, assessing amongst others the financial and impact performances of the Investees, as well as performing follow-on Investments
• Preparing reviews, valuations and loan provisioning documentation
• Providing input for the Board meetings / Investment committees
• Providing input to the Investment Strategy for TRMC

The team
The Investment Manager will be part of a team of 5 Investment Managers for Catalytic Investments and you will directly report to the Managing Director of TRMC. As Investment manager you will closely work together with the Fund manager, the Team lead TRMC Services and the Internal Account Managers.

This is you

• Affinity and personal connection with Triodos’ values and mission, inspired by the potential of Catalytic Investments and being able to express a vision on what these types of Investments could do for the transitions needed in society
• A successfully completed academic degree plus 7+ years of professional experience in (preference: Impact) Investment.
• Preference: relevant experience or network in Agrofood and Nature Based Solutions
• An energetic, well-organized self-starter with a hands-on attitude
• Able to have conversations with clients and prospects independently and the ability to build and maintain relationships
• Entrepreneurship, analytic skills and pragmatism as main motivator on your daily job
• Capacity to perform a variety of tasks, able to set priorities and re-prioritize
• Willingness to travel (within Europe)
