Workplace Experience Manager

We are looking for a Workplace Experience/Office Service Manage r to offer the best service possible to our greatest asset: our people and their work environment. Your first focus is to move us to a new building Including a new work concept. After the move you make sure that the work concept is adopted, maintained, and improved.

This position is a new position in the Operations Team and will report to the Global Director HR Operations.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for managing the Office Services Department in Rotterdam and the move of our Office (400 FTE) in October 2024.

As we are not only physically moving but also entering a new concept of working, we need you to develop and implement a new concept and workplace model. This means change management on group and individual behavior. You will be maintaining the new office design by organizing clear guidance, engaging activities, and regular check-ins.

You are also taking care of Vendor Management and office related facility contracts. As a manager you are responsible for the office service team and reception desk.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a new office work concept and workplace model. Managing the external move from the old office building to the new office building on facilities level.
  • Maintain the new office design after moving by change management activities and regular check-ins.
  • Manage the Office Service Team and Reception Desk.
  • Vendor Management of all office related and facility contracts. Regular evaluation of office services suppliers.
  • Formulates policies and guidelines related but not limited to Office Security, Office Facilities, Office Rules, and Regulations to ensure effective and efficient support to the organization.
  • Act to always keep the office and workplace compliant and safe in according with local legislation.
  • Responsible for managing the budgets. Advising on costs effectiveness and/or possible savings.

Qualifications

  • HBO Degree in Facility Management, Office Management, or other related education.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a managerial role.
  • Experience with modern workplace concepts. Preferable experience with moving large international offices.
  • Experience in working in a dynamic global organization.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, both written and verbally.
  • Demonstrate ability to establish trusting and effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Hands-on and can-do mentality.
