For the holding of an international company in Amstelveen we are currently looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist (m/f/x). The Group conducts business across a diverse range of industries including mining, construction, energy, shipping and more.

Task and responsibilities from the Accounting Specialist in Amstelveen

The local team based in Amsterdam is responsible for the full accounting and reporting function for the Group. As the Accounting Specialist you will report directly to the Financial Reporting Manager and be responsible for the accounting and reporting of a portfolio of companies.

• Ensure that all accounting entries are accurate, and maintain daily accounting documentation and data
• Produce and assist with the filling of statutory submissions
• Develop and maintain the General Ledger, Account Payables, Account Receivables and Cash processes
• Complete relevant monthly reconciliations
• Ensures accurate Dutch reporting (monthly, quarterly and yearly)
• Follow internal accounting procedures and maintain financial security

Profile

• BSc or MSc in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• You speak and write the English language
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch GAAP is a must
• Independently drafting up financial statements

Offer

• Salary between €60.000- and €70.000,- gross a year based on 40 hours a week
