Role and Department

As the Compensation & Benefits Manager for Europe at Genmab, you will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and managing various compensation and benefits programs for our European employee base. Reporting directly to the Director of Compensation & Benefits Europe, you will utilize your expertise to ensure our offerings are competitive, equitable , and aligned with organizatio nal goals. This role can be based in either Copenhagen, Denmark or Utrecht, the Netherlands .

Responsibilities

Compensation:

Take on a pivotal role in steering our compensation and benefits landscape. You'll orchestrate the annual cycle of merit increases, bonuses, and promotions, ensuring our offerings are competitive and equitable . Dive deep into market surveys to benchmark Genmab's compensation, evaluating job levels and salary frameworks that mirror market realities and internal fairness. Champion the administration of our equity programs and develop pay policies that reward and inspire excellence across the board.

Other responsibilities involve :

  • Educate and collaborate with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders on compensation decisions.

  • Stay informed about market trends and recommend updates to compensation strategies.

  • Collaborate with external consultants and HR partners to guide compensation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration , Finance, Human Resource Management, Legal, or related field.

  • 5+ years of Compensation/Benefits/Finance experience, including job evaluation, market analysis and pay structures, prefe rably in Life Sciences /Biotech .

  • Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS system.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel / BI skills.

  • Experience developing compensation strategies and rolling out special projects.

  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, preferably with CCP certification.

  • Deep analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
