Job Title: Sustainability Strategy Director

Now looking to further expand their European operations, our client is seeking an experienced Director of Sustainability to lead client decarbonisation and climate risk projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Spearheaded business development activities, engaged in client dialogues, and contributed to crafting proposals related to decarbonization and climate risk services.

• Formulate forward-thinking perspectives aimed at assisting companies in mitigating or adapting to climate change across their operations and value chain.

• Oversee the growth and management of a team of consultants, fostering their professional development.

• Offer strategic counsel to companies on initiatives related to decarbonization and climate risk, covering measurement and implementation aspects.

• Provide comprehensive support to companies in formulating and executing tangible plans and initiatives aligned with sustainability goals.

• Take on the role of coaching and educating internal colleagues on relevant topics, ensuring the high quality of deliverables.

Your Profile :

• 12+ years' experience in Sustainability and Climate-related functions

• Demonstrable background in generating sales revenue through business development

• Prior background in providing strategic advisory and consulting services, encompassing both management and project delivery expertise.

• An extensive network of clients within The Netherlands

• Excellent knowledge of decarbonisation and climate risk topics

• Excellent ability to engage with C-level professionals and form long-lasting relationships

• Deep understanding of Greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and target setting, alongside associated frameworks, programs, and international benchmarks.
