Financial Controller

We've recently secured €5M in Series A funding, which has strengthened our leading position in the clean mobile energy space, supports the growth of our team and the expansion of our business internationally. As part of taking the company to the next level, we are on the lookout for an intelligent Financial Controller, who is ready for exciting financial and fiscal responsibilities!

Your role as a Financial Controller

As a Finance Controller, you will;

• Manage the daily financial administration and invoicing for all Skoon entities.
• Work on optimising internal financial process flows
• Ensure further customisation of our booking platform and its integration with our ERP and accounting system, moving toward automated billing.
• Collaborate with our accountants at EY and legal team on tax and salary-related matters.
• Update and maintain our financial model, for creating reports and budgets presented to stakeholders, investors, and the team.
• Develop business models and performance-related reports in collaboration with the team and management.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a confident financial controller, who can solve problems quickly and diligently, and knows the dynamics of a fast-paced start-up. We seek someone who can align financial objectives across multiple business units. A strong sense of personal and professional engagement with our team, product and mission is deeply valued.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has had a relevant financial education
• Has 3+ years of relevant working experience in the field of finance and accounting (experience at a scale-up company is a plus)
• Is structured, organised and has an eye for detail
• Has a positive mindset and is solution-oriented
• Is able to manage expectations and delegate tasks to the team
• Has a strong desire to learn and continuously improve
• Has the ability to work independently and has a strong sense of responsibility
• Is driven and full of initiative to take our financial landscape to the next level
• Is able to speak, read, and write Dutch at a professional level
