Our client specialises in the design and implementation of solutions based on new communication channels and digital media. As a network of highly specialised companies, our client defines and develops business models enabled by the new models of big data, cloud computing, digital media and the internet of things. Our client delivers consulting, system integration and digital services to organisations across the telecom and media; industry and services; banking and insurance; and public sectors.

The location is Brussels and you will travel to Luxembourg occasionally.

Role Description
As HR Business Partner/Senior Consultant you will support specific functions within a company; you work closely with management and employees "on the front line," providing hands-on and strategic input, insight, and advice on people-related issues: talent management, employee relations, development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development, and training. Reporting directly to the Head of HR France, the HR Business Partner/Senior Consultant plays an essential role in establishing and driving HR initiatives forward within specific company functions, while always ensuring they align with the company's and the group’s business objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • In coordination with the Head of HR France, consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics, internally and on the market
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide HR policy guidance, declining general corporate guidelines and practices on the French Market, in order to support the strategic growth of a business
  • Monitor and report on workforce
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals
  • Provide HR expertise and suggest new strategies in the areas of feedback, employee relations, people management
  • Liase with Local CSE
  • Partner with local managers and directors on performance management and employee development goals
  • Collaborate with the HR teams to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results
  • Develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
Requirements and skills
  • Excellent Stakeholders management and communication skills
  • Goal oriented
  • Demonstrable experience with HR topics and metrics
  • Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
  • Ability to understand business issues and needs
  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field
  • French, Dutch and English fluent or Mother tongue
