Senior Finance Business Partner - Join Our Visionary R&D Finance Team

At Genmab, our groundbreaking work in the development of antibody therapies is expanding rapidly. As we stride forward, we're in search of a dynamic and seasoned (Senior) Finance Business Partner to empower our R&D endeavors from our state-of-the-art R&D center in the Netherlands. This pivotal role places you at the heart of our Global Finance Team, where you'll directly contribute to shaping the future of cancer treatment alongside the Associate Director of R&D Functions Partnering.

The Role :

Impactful Collaboration: Forge has close ties with the R&D division, offering critical financial insights and analysis to support decision-making processes, driving innovation and success in our research and development efforts.

Strategic Influence: Play a vital role in steering our R&D operations through expert management of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, directly influencing the development of groundbreaking cancer therapies.

Global Community : Work within a supportive, global network of colleagues, united in our mission to revolutionize cancer care, offering ample opportunity for professional growth and global impact.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop annual budgets and forecasts in close cooperation with the R&D functions
• Foster strong collaborations across Genmab, providing stellar financial management and control to various departments.
• Navigate the closing processes, and deliver insightful analyses on financial performance to business stakeholders and senior management
• Contribute to our continuous improvement culture through smart initiatives and process innovations, including AI and machine learning enhancements.

Requirements

• A solid educational background in Finance or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, ideally within the biotech or pharma sectors.
• A strategic thinker with a global perspective, comfortable navigating the complexities of an international, multifaceted organization.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, coupled with a broad understanding of financial systems like Adaptive Insights and SAP.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to simplify complex financial data for diverse audiences.
• A proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for teamwork, innovation, and excellence in finance.
