The main task is providing day-to-day logistics support, expertise in arranging transport and managing logistics issues. Next to that we come across situations that require exception-management skills and a problem-solving mindset. Responsibilities / Duties: Follow up on customer requirements to ensure on-time delivery and lowest cost-to-service product transportation to the final destination. Monitors Logistics Service Providers on performance. Ensures timely processing the administrative flow of the inbound and outbound process. Responsible for solving transactional failures. Close collaboration with Logistics Service Providers, taking appropriate action in case of non-compliances and supports logistics Quality Measure resolution. Verifies if logistics capacity versus demands can be matched (including special requests). Responsible for accuracy of logistics data and accurate logistics charges. Manages non-standard orders, changes and exceptions requiring different transport arrangements. Checks, approves and books (additional) logistics costs in system timely. What do you get in return?
