Head of Global Learning and Quality Control Sanctions

The Head of Global Learning and Quality Control is a role within Rabobank's Sanctions Control Standards which will manage the Quality Control function which provides quality checking for Economic Sanctions (ESM) and Name & Transaction Screening (NTS). This is a is a key function that checks whether transactions carried out by Rabobank customers are permitted within the policy and within laws and regulations. This role will also develop a comprehensive learning strategy that encompasses all levels and functions related to Sanctions promoting a culture of continuous learning, cooperation, openness, and feedback among employees within the organization.

You actively collaborate with relevant decision-making bodies within Rabobank's Financial Economic Crime (FEC) department. This collaboration ensures that the learning strategy aligns with the overall goals and objectives of the organization, specifically in the context of financial crime prevention and Sanctions-related activities.

Furthermore, you will have a close collaboration with other FEC learning entities to ensure seamless integration of quality file checking, learning initiatives and resources, while leveraging the expertise and knowledge available within Rabobank.

  • Develop strategy and vision on continuous learning in Sanctions and drive this vision in the Global Sanctions community, performing (risk) impact assessment of (new) Sanctions, policies and processes on continuous learning programs;
  • Line management of staff, providing key direction, support and ongoing support to help develop career goals for our employees;

You and your talent

  • Leadership and/or management experience and relevant working experience in learning, development or talent management.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in the area of Sanctions.
  • Knowledge of risk management, control frameworks and control standards.
  • Thorough understanding of learning frameworks.
  • Ability to drive cultural change and promote continuous learning.
  • Comprehensive understanding and vision for continuous learning and high-performing teams in an international environment.
  • You have experience working in a multi-cultural environment, with the ability to wonder that there are different roads to success, and where listening and asking questions is the starting point.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written.

This is what we offer you

  • €5.678 to a maximum of €8.111 gross per month (scale 11);
  • Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance;
  • An extra budget of 11 % of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out;
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport;
  • A combination of working from home and at the office;
  • A pension scheme to which you contribute 3.5%.
