Head of Facilities & Services

Are you an experienced manager in Facilities, Maintenance and Engineering with a proven GMP track record? For our Facilities & Services team we are looking for aHead of Facilities & Services. In this role you areresponsible for the effective services delivery for the relevant users including staff, visitors and clients.

What you will do

  • Accountable for GMP facilities, engineering, warehouse and logistics departments including QMS related activities.
  • Managing of all facility management requirements for manufacturing. This includes ensuring facility operations are operational for cleaning, waste management, pest control and gowning supplies to support critical day to day operation in the labs and cleanrooms.
  • Manage operational and capital budgets, create management reports and organize resources according to team priorities and customer needs.
  • Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards.
  • Manage direct reports as well as external contractors for FM, cleaning, pest control and waste management.
  • Ensuring that a timely and effective communication and escalation process exists to raise (quality) issues to the appropriate management level.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and compliance requirements.

What we ask

We are looking for a pro-active and self-organised Head of Facilities & Services with experience in a GMP environment .You are thorough and a problem solver focused on providing effective services to all stakeholders.

  • Proven experience as Head of Facilities & Services in a GMP environment in Pharma/CDMO.
  • At least BSc in relevant field for the responsibilities scope e.g. Facility management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant working experience incl. 5+ years in managerial roles
  • Good communication skills in Dutch andEnglish (in writing and verbally)
