Sustainalytics’ Fixed Income (SFI) Team is a rapid growth business responsible for bringing sustainable finance products to multi-national corporations, governments and financial institutions. We are best known for our second-party opinions (SPOs) for green/social/sustainability and KPI-linked bonds and loans, raising capital for sustainable projects and outcomes. Job responsibilities:

As a project member, you contribute to Sustainalytics' continued positioning as a leading provider of SPOs for the sustainable bond/loan frameworks. The key attributes required for this role include outstanding writing, research and client communication skills. You work directly with the Project Managers on approximately 4-6 ongoing projects at a time; primarily on the framework review and drafting of the SPOs along with other project members. At some point, you may be expected to manage projects, engage with issuers and underwriters regarding framework review from project kickoff to delivery and coach new team members on a continual basis. You work collaboratively with the SFI team across our global offices to ensure that projects are managed efficiently and team engagement is strong.

> Passion for sustainability and demonstrated interest in sustainable finance and green bonds and willingness to learn.
> Fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills. Fluency in other languages, especially French, is an asset.
> 2+ years of related work experience; experience in financial markets or corporate consulting considered an asset.
> Accuracy and attention to detail.
> Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment.
> Strong ability to analyze and interpret data, while maintaining a critical approach.
> Client-centric and commercial approach.
> Positive attitude, Innovative and entrepreneurial.
> Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, across different regions.
> Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
> Alignment with Sustainalytics’ mission, vision and values.
> Experience working with diverse individuals/teams.
> Professional report writing skills.
> Degree in related discipline (business, finance, sustainability, engineering).
